ICE!
After one of the coldest nights for a while – a walk along the Tamar and up into the woods produced a series of chilled photos! The river had frozen at the edges during hightide leaving the ice as it lowered…..

Snow!
November snow on Dartmoor. This was at least 3 days after it had snowed, and photographed from several miles away on a very cold Sunday afternoon. Also, a couple of local headgerow finds!

Tamar Morning!
I happened to be on another part of the Tamar River on a cold, freezing and snowy morning and although the snow had not reached this part it was still frozen. The mist was very light but just enough to soften the watery sun. The field mushroom, if that is what it is was a frozen 7 inch disk! The river was very still, hence the reflections and the overhead cables just got in the way but did produce a strange effect!
