More Daffs
As the daffodils come out I am trying to get different varieties, also playing with backgrounds. Also tried the moon, but I think I over exposed them!
Spring Flowers
The daffodils are coming out and bunches are for sale at roadside stalls so I have had an abundant supply!! I have a large bowl of bulbs in the garden away from the slugs and snails which I tend carefully every year – well I water it occasionly – and that is full of crocii. So with such a beautiful day on Sunday I took the camera outside for its spring outing!! I then cut one flower for the studio……
Just uploaded new images……..
Trying to be efficient and sorting out new pictures for an upcoming exhibition (details to follow) I have just uploaded new images to my RPS portfolio (http://www.rps.org) so here is a taster of the new World within World series. These are two superimposed images which can confuse the mind! Enjoy……..
That is January dealt with!

Is Photography Art?
With an exhibition coming up I had been thinking about what I produced. Yes, some great macro flowers in the studio; yes, some pretty good land/water scapes; but what was my USP? I have been working with a film maker combining film and images, so thought I why not combine images? So with some experimenting here are the first four. Look carefully as at first sight most people miss some of the content; a clue is in the title! Also, the thumbnails cut off some of the image so click on the image and then again!!

Outdoors and in
With mixed weather this week I have been picking single flowers from the garden, and photographing them in the studio. Also been on a couple of walks in and out of woods and along the river Tamar with the sun spotighting a field and a tower. A mix of straight mast and bendy tree with white daisies below was a nice challenge. Into the woods and the Anti vibration mechanism on the new lens worked well plus for a change I uped the ISO to 500 with hardly any degrdation! More at Flickr
