The Lost Coast and More
Been travelling around!! On the Lost Coast, into the Gulch, the back of beyond and Redwoods. Weather has been mixed but with amazing sun and hot as well as rain and mist – I like 4 wheel drive on the rough wet roads……
Here are a few photos……..

Sunset, deer, parks and the Pacific.
Here are a few more – bit of a rush – sunset in Arcata after the rains, the Pacific Ocean from Route 1, a deer in a local park in Garberville and the odd view – enjoy!
Redwoods, US Towns and Elk!
Another trip to the Redwoods, this time with time and a tripod as it is dark in there! Also a few of a town we stay in. Also, on a trip to see friends in the outback we came around a corner (already reduced to a few MPH because of road conditions) and there were a few Elk, then more and more so we kept quiet and still as the bull has big antlers and would think nothing of attacking the odd car…
Plus one taken at night – there is no light pollution (no mains power for miles so no street lights) at all apart from the lights from the house so millions of stars and the Milky Way are visible!

Tamar Morning!
I happened to be on another part of the Tamar River on a cold, freezing and snowy morning and although the snow had not reached this part it was still frozen. The mist was very light but just enough to soften the watery sun. The field mushroom, if that is what it is was a frozen 7 inch disk! The river was very still, hence the reflections and the overhead cables just got in the way but did produce a strange effect!

Autumn Colours!
This year has been amazing – and still is, although last night the wind blew and the rain rained so a lot of leaves fell. This set is just to show the colours in the Tamar and Tavy Valleys. Sadly the sky has been gray for most of the time!

That illusive autumn leaf!!
I am still trying to get the right combination! Sun, leaves and colour…… This is the latest trial with a few others interjected! They are at http://www.flickr.com/photos/reflexrover/sets/72157625164848887Autumn, this is a good one!!
I am after the perfect pizza, I found some trees, in great autumn colours, yesterday and could not stop but today it is cloudy and dull, maybe tomorrow! However, here are a few that I have managed so far and I adnit that I have used Lightroom! Also, I managed to get them off the camera without corruption thanks to a new card reader! The old one even rewrote the Bios and really upset the computer!
