New Technique!!
Although these look better when big here is a sample of a new technique I have been developing. These are as they were shot – no post production, just converted to readable images.
The Sun has ……..
Wow! What a week – wonderful weather, and lots of flowers. I even got outside with the camera, I had thought of getting the early morning light but ended up taking flowers at the end of the day….. Then to round things off a few cut columbines (Aquilegia vulgaris – Aquila being the latin for Eagle – we get a lot of purple eagles around here!) – columbine is apparently from the latin for pigeon – is that because the wild ones are not as grand as the cultivated? Otherwise known as Granny’s Bonnet. Don’t forget
Bluebells and others
After cat sitting mushrooms come local bluebells. We have the two sorts here the fuller larger invaders and the more delicate indigenous species. The church on the hill is Brentor. I have photos for sale at http://www.tamarvalleyphotos.co.uk
Cat Sitting
You may question why, with pictures of fungi, the post is called cat sitting – well these wonderful edible yummies were a gift for looking after 3 cats for a week, and very nice they were!! (both the cats and the fungi since you ask!). Oh yes, there are a couple of blowies after the blowy has blown!

From Daffofils to Tulips!!
Several unusual daffodils created by using coloured flash, then a few more and some tulips from the studio!
Daffodils – nearly at the end!
Here are a few more, we went out today and many are over. The bluebells are coming out so that should be fun. Todays photos will appear soon!
New Web Site
Finally I have revamped my own website – a long and painful process!! However, I can now sell prints online! It is image heavy and can take a while to download. I hope you enjoy what you see. The World Within World section requires time to look and see what is there! www.tamarvalleyphotos.co.uk
More Daffs
As the daffodils come out I am trying to get different varieties, also playing with backgrounds. Also tried the moon, but I think I over exposed them!
Spring Flowers
The daffodils are coming out and bunches are for sale at roadside stalls so I have had an abundant supply!! I have a large bowl of bulbs in the garden away from the slugs and snails which I tend carefully every year – well I water it occasionly – and that is full of crocii. So with such a beautiful day on Sunday I took the camera outside for its spring outing!! I then cut one flower for the studio……
Just uploaded new images……..
Trying to be efficient and sorting out new pictures for an upcoming exhibition (details to follow) I have just uploaded new images to my RPS portfolio (http://www.rps.org) so here is a taster of the new World within World series. These are two superimposed images which can confuse the mind! Enjoy……..
