Jazz and Boats!!
A sunny (for the main) day spent wandering around the Barbican for the Jazz & Blues International Festival and the Classic Boat Show. A great time – nice lunch at 3.30 at the B-Bar, met a few friends, heard some good music and had a drink or two as we travelled by train!!

I was given an evening primrose flower and guess what I did with it?? Yes, into the studio – here they are!

Here is one of the new ones – using Infra Red for one image – the snow covered like trees and an ordinary image for the second – works for me!

Musings
With the weather being interesting, to say the least, I have been working in the studio as well as developing new web work – our latest innovation is getting the same site on big screen, tablet and phone and not wasting phone bandwidth. Anyone interested in a responsive web site let me know! Light
Still working indoors (which to be honest I prefer) I am still playing with light. One of these is of a cactus flower which is under a centimetre long.
Wind, rain and not much else!
Been playing with a new flash set-up. The wind is getting worse, the rain has damaged flowers – time to move downstairs where I have spied some prime suspects…… but you will have to put up with these for now!
Storm Force Winds in Drakewalls!!
All this wind means the flowers are damaged and waterlogged so getting them to photograph has not been easy. My xmas lights from China arrived this week, so I can now add back bokeh (out of focus bits) without flooding the studio (the wet way involves spray guns, angled flash guns and a lot of good luck!), and here are the first trials – some with a Chive head and some with a fallen Foxglove – I must wash my hands – the digitalis won’t help!!
