Triple Wammy!
Todays post has three sections. I have been trying to use what facilities I have – lenses, weather and more – I live at the top of a hill with nothing higher than us to the North Atlantic – another way of saying that it is WINDY! I often say, ‘can’t photograph today as it is too windy’, so to counteract that and with the aid of a variable Neutral Density filter and flash gun or multiple exposure I have tried to counter the wind. Secondly whilst waiting for a new zoom I have been making myself use prime lenses for everything which has proved a good relearning curve! Finally the new Nikon 28 – 300 arrived; meant for travel use when I need to change from zoom to wide angle quickly it was fun to just go for a walk to see what it would do and it is wonderful – heavy as it is a FX lens and solid with crisp optics.
